PSA 2 AAA is governed by a ten-member Executive Board formed through the Joint Powers Agreement between the five counties serviced by PSA 2. The Executive Board is primarily comprised of members of the Boards of Supervisors from each county as well as lay persons with interest and experience in serving the aging community.
The role of the Executive Board is to govern the PSA 2 AAA by developing policy, adopting rules and procedures, and approving the agency's annual budget. The Executive Board meets throughout the year on the third Monday of the month in accordance with the board's established meeting schedule. Attendance by members of the communities within PSA 2 is welcomed and encouraged.
The Executive Board is assisted by a twenty member PSA 2 AAA Advisory Council. The Advisory Council provides recommendations to the Executive Board on matters such as program planning, development of proposals, and proposal review.
